ELX24 series eco-friendly gas insulated ring main unit is characterized by reasonable design, reliable power supply, compact structure, easy for installation, flexible operation, small size and cost-effectiveness.   • ELX24 is eco-friendly gas insulated, environmental friendly, pollution-free, compact design, its outline dimensions similar to SF6 RMU.
  • The RMU structure is classic design, comprising of instrument compartment, gas tank compartment, cable compartment and mechanism compartment. A pressure relief passage is arranged in cable compartment and gas tank compartment, to safeguard the equipment and personnel in case of internal arc fault. Mechanical interlocks are arranged between load break switch, circuit breaker, 3-position disconnector and cable compartment, with “five-proof” functions of switchgear.
  • The vacuum interrupters used in ELX24 RMU adopt CuCr contact material, of small electrical wear rate, long life span, high and stable insulating strength, rapid arcing recovery, high breaking capacity. The vacuum interrupters are embedded by APG process, to meet requirements for reliable performance and miniature design.
  • The disconnector of RMU is double blade design, so it has 2 isolating clearances, which has high breaking capacity than single isolating clearance, also solves the insulating saturation of arcing, thus to increase the reliability of equipment, to have better electrical performance and life span.
  • The ELX24 is modular design, the functional units are free to be combined and integrated.
